These terms apply when you use mall.lk, its store pages at store-name.mall.lk and any related services (together, "Mall.lk"). Mall.lk is operated by Mall.lk ("we", "us"). By browsing or placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. What Mall.lk is

Mall.lk is an online marketplace where independent stores ("sellers") list and sell their products. When you buy a product, your contract of sale is with the seller named on the product and order. We provide the platform, the checkout and order tracking, help with disputes and, where online payment is offered, collect payment on the seller's behalf through our payment partner.

2. Using Mall.lk

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or use Mall.lk with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
  • Give accurate name, phone and address details. We send order updates by SMS to the phone number you give.
  • Do not misuse Mall.lk: no fraudulent orders, fake reviews, attempts to break security, scraping or harassment of sellers or staff.

3. Products and prices

  • Sellers are responsible for their product descriptions, photos, stock and prices. We check sellers but cannot guarantee every listing.
  • All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Delivery charges are shown separately before you confirm your order.
  • If a price or description is obviously wrong, the seller may cancel the order and refund any payment.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when the seller confirms it; you will receive an order number and updates by SMS. A seller may decline or cancel an order as described in our Cancellation Policy.

5. Payment

  • Depending on the seller, you can pay by cash on delivery, bank transfer or online by debit/credit card. The available options are shown at checkout.
  • Online card payments are processed securely by our licensed payment gateway partner. Your card details are entered on the payment partner's secure page; Mall.lk and sellers never see or store your full card number.
  • An order paid online is treated as paid only after the payment partner confirms the payment to us.
  • For bank transfers, the seller confirms the order once the payment is received.

6. Delivery, returns and refunds

Delivery is covered by our Delivery Policy. Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund & Return Policy. Both form part of these terms.

7. Sellers

Stores that sell on Mall.lk also agree to our Seller Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Mall.lk name, logo and website design belong to us. Product photos and descriptions belong to the sellers who upload them. You may not copy or reuse content from Mall.lk for commercial purposes without permission.

9. Liability

We work to keep Mall.lk available and accurate but provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under Sri Lankan law.

How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here, with its date, applies to orders placed from that date.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.
